SPEEDER: THE NAME SAYS IT ALL
A fast and no-frills lightweight is all you need for whizzing spontaneously from A to B. In other words: Merida's SPEEDER. This bike nearly demonstrates road-racer qualities while its flat handlebar grants a more upright seating position and a comparatively better overview. The transmission ratio range is expanded either by a third chainring or a compact drivetrain. Wider sectioned tyres using fast rolling tread patterns combine low rolling resistance with improved durability. SPEEDER: Training, touring, enjoying easy-going velocity!
This model also delights with an extremely smooth-running 700C wheelset. However, there is no need for a suspension fork: plain black asphalt is Merida's SPEEDER's home terrain.
MATTS 6061 Aluminium Tubing
Aluminum frame with classic MERIDA shotgun tube design on top and down tube, manufactured from heat-treated 6061 aluminum.
Smooth welding
Smoothened welding line by using specific welding technology - improved outlook, without any weakening of the welding structure.
Egg shaped head tube
