Merida's MATTS TFS XC features all of the important elements of its big MULTI VAN MERIDA BIKING TEAM brothers - geometry, ultra-stifness and precise handling. The latest HFS generation is inspired by technology and elaborate tube-shapes, manufactured by using mechanical methods called TECHNO FORMING. All in all, the MATTS TFS XC represents a thoughbred racing bike with a great eye for detail.
This model also features an egg-shaped head tube with 50 mm base diameter and enlarged centre for improved steering precision and reduced vibration.

Through some mechanical pressing-operations 3-dimensional shaped tubes made of Racelite 6061 alloy.

Egg shaped head tube
